"Prayer in C" of Lilly Wood & The Prick and Robin Schulz spends a second week on top of the German charts, while Andreas Bourani returns in the top three, up from #4 to #2 with "Auf uns" and Mark Forster and his "Au Revoir" clocks up a month at #3.

"We Are One (Ole Ola)", or the official 2014 Fifa World Cup song, of Pitbull feat. Jennifer Lopez & Claudia Leitte is also on the rise, up one to six. Up four to #7 is Jason Derulo and "Wiggle" - the fifth top-ten hit of the US star.

With "V.I.P." and "Keep Calm (Fuck U)", peaks #4 and #11, respectively, Prince Kay One had two relatively strong hits last year. He is now back with newly recorded material, this time for the football world cup, as "United" charts at #14. The song features Swiss Patrick Miller, who has had chart success turning up into two singles of Mike Candys & Evelyn - "One Night in Ibiza" (peak #11) and "2012 (If the World Would End)" (peak #3).

Slowly but steadily "Dare (La La La)" of Shakira climbs towards the top 20, this week up two to #22. Sigma's "Nobody To Love" is this week up from #38 to #29.

German Chart Comments - Issue Date 20.06

(Robin Schulz scores again, while Cro is Album chart King)

"Changes", "Waves", "Jubel"... the pleiade of number one electro-jazz singles continues this week with a new addition called "Prayer in C" of Lilly Wood & The Prick and Robin Schulz. The latter is of course the German DJ who made "Waves" of Mr. Probz a world hit, while the first two are a French pop duo active since 2006 but it was thanks once again to Robin Schulz that they managed to have a number one with such an ease.

Thus, after a four-week run at #1, Cro's "Traum" slips one to two, followed by Mark Forster and "Au Revoir", which retains the third place.

Despite the awful performance at the opening of the FIFA World Cup 2014, "We Are One (Ole Ola)" of Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Cludia Leitte enters the top ten for the first time, up seven to #7.

The current LP of OneRepublic has already been responsible for three top ten singles of the band, the biggest of course "Counting Stars". Thanks to a re-issue and new recorded material, it now brings a fresh hit in the form of (the once again amazing) "Love Runs Out". The single arrives at #8 to boost OneRepublic's number of top ten singles to eight.

Going on with their climb towards the top ten are Jason Derulo and Snoop Dogg and their "Wiggle", up two to #11.

Managing to surpass its #19 peak from a month ago, John Legend's "All Of Me" is this week up five to #18. Shakira's "Dare (La La La)" rises this time one to #24, while the third new entry comes at #27. "Marathon" is the follow-up to Helene Fischer's extremely successful "Atemlos Durch Die Nacht", this week at #9, and is actually the third single from her multi-selling "Farbenspiel" LP. Yes, it seems that there are still people who don't have some of the songs from it...

At #38, up ten, Sigma's "Nobody To Love" continues its attempt to be one of the summer hits in Germany, while at #39 local band Ok Kid (the name comes from two Radiohead albums) scores its first ever chart single with "Grundlos".

And last, we should also mention TV host and occasional music chart star Stefan Raab, whose World Cup song "Wir Kommen Um Ihn Zu Holen" flies from #90 to #43.

The LP chart

Expectedly the LP chart is crowned by the second album of rap sensation Cro. "Melodie" comes two years after "Raop" and just like its predecessor sits beautifully at #1 with quite a healthy amount of sales. Rap duo Celo & Abdi are also new, at #3, with second album "Akupunktur". Jack White's "Lazaretto" debuts at #5, two places below the #3 peak of "Blunderbuss" from two years ago. Passenger's second album "Whispers" reaches the same #6 peak of its predecessor, while "War Eternal" of Swedish metal band Arch Enemy enters new at #9.

German Chart Comments - Issue Date 13.06

(German music continues to rule, Lana & Linkin Park with top new entries)

The rapper with the panda mask, also known as Cro, spends a comfortable fourth week atop the German singles countdown with "Traum", followed once again by Andreas Bourani and his former chart topper "Auf uns". For a second consecutive week, Mark Forster ft. Sido stick to the bronze with "Au Revoir".

It's up three to five for "Hideaway" and Kiesza, while Jason Derulo scores his sixth top 20 single as "Wiggle" moves up eight to #13. Also on the rise, and for now leading the football-related hits, is the official 2014 Fifa World Cup song "We Are One (Ole Ola)" of Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez. It moves up five to #14.

Michael Jackson's successful team-up with Justin Timberlake on "Love Never Felt So Good" makes it this week inside the top 20 as the song climbs five to #18. This is the first Michael Jackson release to reach the top 20 since "Hold My Hand" peaked at #7 in 2010.

It's also worth noting that "Calm After The Storm" of The Common Linnets, who ranked second in this Eurovison, continues to stick around and this week stands firm at #20, while all other Eurovision songs bar the winner and the German offering are long gone and forgotten.
Video

The biggest new entry can be found at #22 coming from Lana Del Rey. Though "West Coast", the pilot single from Lana's eagerly anticipated second album, does not sets the charts on fire, it has the honour for now to be her third most successful release in the country.

Video

As Linkin Park continue to release the same single/different lyrics/, they continue to have a relatively good time in Germany's Top 100. That's why "Until It's Gone", the second offering of the rockers' "The Hunting Party" LP enters at #24. First single "Guilty All the Same" peaked at #32.

Video

Further down the top 50, Shakira's "Dare (La La La)" advances four to #25, while Ariana Grande's first ever German chart single "Problem" soars sixteen to #34.

The summer has already started and it is time for the Majorca hits to affect the chart. So, there should be no surprised that party-schlager king Mickie Krause brings "Geh mal Bier hol'n - GmBh" inside the top 50, up to #45 from #53.
Live

Following this year's trend for UK dance number ones to be successful in Germany as well, Sigma's "Nobody To Love" rises twelve to #48.

Xavier Naidoo has had a recent success with his cover of Andreas Gabalier's "Amoi seg’ ma uns wieder", peak #12, but now he is back with original material and his latest single "Hört, Hört" starts its chart foray slowly, at #49.

The LP chart

Another week, another German rapper topping the LP chart. This time it is KC Rebell who has the honour with his third album "Rebellution". His previous offering "Banger rebellieren" peaked at #2. Also new straight in the top ten we can find Veritas Maximus, the new band of Kevin Russel of Boehse Onkelz fame, and their debut "Glaube Und Wille" at #5. German Chart Comments - Issue Date 6.06

Cro's stay at #1 with "Traum" continues for a third week as we have a very rare situation - a completely German top four. Thus, Andreas Bourani is still at #2 with "Auf uns", while Mark Forster and his amazing "Au Revoir" rises five to #3 in its third week on the list. It's up two to #4 for Helene Fischer and her undying "Atemlos durch die Nacht".

After peaking for two times at #16, "Hideaway" of Kiesza enters the top ten at #8, up eight, while also new inside the first ten is Alle Farben's dance hit "She Moves (Far Away)", up three to #9.
Video - Kiesza

The highest new entry of the week belongs to Sarah Connor, a huge star just several years ago, whose chart career has been at a standstill lately. The singer was however part of the "Sing Meinen Song" contest, which as you may remember was responsible for the #12 new entry of "Amoi Seg Ma Uns Wieder" sung by Xavier Naidoo a month ago. The show during which famous local musicians sing each others' songs became extremely popular and is even to be "blamed" for the current number one album. Sarah's "Keiner Ist Wie Du", which can be found at #12 is originally performed by Gregor Meyle and the original version even enters this week at #40. Sarah Connor was last in the top 20 back in 2010 with "Cold As Ice".

Jason Derulo's "Wiggle" is closer to the top 20 as it moves one to #21 in its second week, while Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good" is up two yo #23. Entering the top 30 for the first time is "Marilyn Monroe" of Pharrell Williams, which climbs 14 to #25, as well as "Dare (La La La)" of Shakira - up to #29 from #47. This week also sees Sam Smith asking "Stay With Me" at #33, up from #36.

There is a new entry by local band Broilers and "Ich Will Hier Nicht Sein" at #34, which we will not see in the next week, while as I mentioned above "Keine Ist Wie Du" of Gregor Meyle enters at #40. Though having a music career for more than five years, Meyle's previous touch to Germany's top 100 worth mentioning is the #30 peak of "Niemand" from 2008.
Video - Broilers

Back in 2011 and it was the time when Scooter, perhaps the most successful German band chart-wise, has never had a single missing the top 50. Three years later and five flops on their back and even VIVA refusing to play them (for reasons unknown), HP and co. have at least managed to do it slightly better with the first single of the "The Fifth Chapter" album. "Bigroom Blitz", a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa, comes in at #43.

The remaining new entries (and some re-entries):

46. Xavier Naidoo - Du Bist Das Licht (Aus Sing Meinen Song)

The Album Chart

So, though technically a various artists compilation, the soundtrack to Sing Meinen Song-Das Tauschkonzert TV show rises one to claim the number one title in Germany's LP chart. New inside the top ten we can find rappers Fard & Snaga and "Talion 2-La Rabia" at #4, Gregor Meyle's "New York-Stintino" at #5, rapper Al-Gear's "Wieder Mal Angeklagt" at #8 and (also rappers) Gzuz & Bonez MC with "High & Hungrig" at #9.
